Optometrists and optometry students met in Washington DC for the AOA Congressional Conference and the AOA State Government Relations Center (SGRC) and the Third Party Center(TPC) meeting held concurrently. MOA’s Industry Alliance: Part 1 – Duffens Optical
In 1994, the MOA, under then President Carter Glass, developed the Industry Alliance program to foster a working relationship between organized optometry and the ophthalmic industry and to recognize them for their contributions to the MOA. The program is now 18 years old and despite the many changes occurring in the industry, the program is still going strong.
